Abstract:

The Israeli general elections for the 24th Knesset were held on Tuesday, 23 March 2021, and resulted in a new party map, which included distributing the weight of the parties expressed in the number of seats. In less than two years, these elections were the fourth in a precedent that the Israeli political system has not witnessed.
The results of those elections are estimated to have an impact on various forms of overall Israeli performance. The present report provides a reading of this event, in its context, content, and outcome, which is linked to the facts and their implications, through the discussion of the method of the Knesset elections, developments leading up to the new elections, data on this elections, the structure of the Knesset and information about the constituent parties.
The report concluded that the results of the 24th Knesset elections clearly showed (After counting all votes) is a complex situation, highlighted by the fact that neither Netanyahu nor his opponents have easy opportunities to form a future government, owing to the fact that none of them has achieved a parliamentary majority, with The supporter camp for Netanyahu gaining 52 seats, and if the "two rights" led by Bennett join him in forming a future government, he will have 59 seats. The anti-Netanyahu Zionist camp gained 57 seats, and the consolidated list received four seats.
Concerning Arabs, the Common List and the Consolidated List of Arab States' authority have declined from 15 seats in the previous Knesset to 10 seats in the new Knesset. The decline in the voting rate in the Arab sector (from 65% to about 53%), the split between the two lists, and the breaches of Likud and Netanyahu into the Arab sector appear to have been among the most prominent factors in this decline.
