 This study is about the tradition of minstrelsy, which has survived by undergoing various changes from the past to the present. The study focuses on determining the affinity of the minstrel moods within this tradition with Turkish music. In the survey, Kars province, where the tradition is intensely kept alive, was taken as a sample. The names of the minstrel moods in the province were tried to be determined. From this point of view, interviews were conducted with seven minstrels from Kars who agreed to meet face-to-face and over the phone. It has been tried to find answers to the questions asked about the minstrel moods. A literature review was made, and a personal interview technique was used in the research. In the study flow, the tradition of minstrelsy in Kars, maqam, tune, and the term foot are used similarly, and other theoretical information on the subject is included. It has been tried to evaluate the findings obtained by benefiting from the knowledge and opinions of the minstrels of Kars. In light of the results, 126 tune names used in the performances of the Kars minstrels who participated in the interviews were determined, but the melody of some of them could not be reached. The performances of the minstrel tunes, whose melodies were called from these tune names, were examined. Their affinity with Turkish music maqam scales is discussed. It has been revealed that the determined minstrel moods are the closest to the Segâh maqam, among the Turkish music maqam scales, and the least to Rast and Hicaz maqams. In addition, it has been concluded that there is a performance order ritual in minstrel assemblies.

 Bu çalışma geçmişten günümüze çeşitli değişimlere uğrayarak varlığını sürdürmeyi başarmış olan âşıklık geleneğini ve bünyesindeki âşık havalarının Türk müziğiyle yakınlık durumunu konu edinmektedir. Çalışmada örneklem olarak geleneğin yoğun bir şekilde yaşatıldığı Kars ili ele alınmış ve ildeki âşık havalarının isimleri tespit edilmeye çalışılmıştır. Buradan hareketle yüz yüze ve telefon ile görüşmeyi kabul eden 7 Karslı âşıkla görüşmeler yapılmış, âşık havalarıyla ilgili sorulan sorulara cevaplar aranmaya çalışılmıştır. Araştırma sürecinde konuya ilişkin kaynak taraması yapılmış ve kişisel görüşme tekniği kullanılmıştır. Çalışmanın akışında Kars ili âşıklık geleneği, makam, hava ve benzer anlamda kullanılan ayak terimi ile konuya ilişkin diğer kuramsal bilgilere yer verilmiştir. Karslı âşıkların bilgi ve görüşlerinden faydalanılarak edinilen bulgular değerlendirilmeye çalışılmıştır. Elde edilen bulgular ışığında, görüşme yapılan Karslı âşıkların icralarında kullandıkları 126 hava ismine ulaşılmış ancak bir kısmının ezgisine ulaşılamamıştır. Bu hava isimlerinden ezgisine ulaşılan âşık havalarının icraları incelenmiş ve Türk müziği makam dizileriyle yakınlık yönünden değerlendirilmiştir. Tespit edilen âşık havalarının; Türk müziği makam dizilerinden en çok Segâh makamına, en az ise Rast ve Hicaz makamlarına yakınlık gösterdiği ve âşık meclislerinde bir icra sıralaması ritüelinin olduğu sonuçlarına ulaşılmıştır.
