Abstract:

Hasan al-Basri (642-728) was one
of the most famous religious scholars in the first century of Islam. He was
well-known for his religiosity and profound knowledge. The religiousness led
the Sufis to accept him as one of the pioneers. Ehl-i circumcision writers of
the later period were more interested in counting Hassan among his
predecessors. On the other hand, the Mutezilians also warned him as one of the
first Kaderis. They emphasized that the founders of their schools came from the
parliament in Basra.

Hasan el-Basrî (642-728) İslam’ın birinci asrında en meşhur din
âlimlerinden birisi idi. O, dindarlığı ve engin bilgisiyle çok iyi
tanınmaktaydı. Dindarlığı, sufîlerin onu öncülerinden biri olarak
kabul etmelerine neden oldu. Daha sonraki dönemin Ehl-i sünnet
