 تهدف الدراسة إلى معرفة مدى القياس والإفصاح المحاسبي للتكاليف البيئية في الشركة الشرقية للدخان، من خلال استخدام قائمة استقصاء، حيث قامت الباحثة بإجراء التحاليل الإحصائية للإجابات التي وردت بقائمة الاستقصاء، وتوصلت الدراسة إلى أن الشركة الشرقية للدخان تضم بالقياس والإفصاح المحاسبي، عن التكاليف البيئية، وتستخدم نظام للقياس والإفصاح المحاسبي يسمح بالفصل بين التكاليف البيئية وتكاليف الأنشطة الاقتصادية. وأوصت الباحثة بضرورة إصدار تشريعات تلزم الشركات الصناعية المصرية الإفصاح عن التكاليف البيئية، وضرورة تطوير نظام المحاسبة البيئية ليمكن من قياس التكاليف البيئية بشكل دقيق.
                  The study aims to identify the gauge and accounting disclosure of environmental costs in the Eastern Tobacco Company, through the use of a survey list, the researcher conducted the statistical analysis of the answers received from the survey list. The study concluded that the environmental accounting system at Miser fertilizers production Company "MOPCO" does not properly measure environmental costs, and the accurate accounting for environmental costs and their presentation in separate items in the financial statements helps to assess environmental performance. The study concluded that the Eastern Tobacco Company is measuring and accounting environmental costs, and uses an accounting measurement and disclosure system that allows for the separation of environmental costs and costs of economic activities. The researcher recommended the need to issue legislation obligating Egyptian industrial companies to disclose environmental costs, and develop the system of environmental accounting to enable accurate measurement and disclosure of environmental costs.
