Abstract:

Account the issues of acceptance, with great interest By the deanships admission, registration and acceptance interested in the various sectors of higher education in pursuit of justice in the admission of students and their assignment to different colleges in line with their abilities and their educational attainment. Therefore, this study was to contribute to efforts towards the assessment of the acceptance criteria used in the university, and the importance of these criteria, in order of importance. Where the university is currently using the percentage of high school and my degree of capacity and grades, which are being submitted the National Center for measurement and evaluation. The study seeks to predict the cumulative rate of the student through these independent variables (high, capacity, and grades) in order to determine the proportion of each variable to explain variation in the dependent variable is the cumulative average. To achieve this, the researcher used linear regression method Thill gradual. Where possible, arrange variables according to their importance, the analysis showed that the secondary variable is ranked first. In terms alone explain the square correlation coefficient of $ 231.0, followed by variable test grades forcibly invaded together with square. Correlation coefficient of $ 284.0 and then test the variable capacity, which explained his predecessors with the square correlation coefficient of $ 297.0 Indicating the importance of the proportion of high school, in explaining the variation in the average cumulative , so the focus should be on performance in high school and give the percentage of high school when the largest share in the trade-off admission.
