 ينصرف اهتمامنا في هذا البحث إلى مقاربة الثورة المنهجية الحاصلة في علم التاريخ في ضوء التحليل الابستيمولوجي، وذلك برصد الأسس النظرية والخلفيات الفلسفية التي أطرتها منذ القرن التاسع عشر. في هذا السياق رأينا أن نبدأ باستعراض التصور الوضعي للتاريخ الذي لا يكترث إلا بالأحداث التاريخية المدعمة بالوثائق المكتوبة؛ ثم المرور إلى مدرسة الحوليات الفرنسية التي تجاوزته بدعوتها إلى إلى العمل التأريخي التوليفي وتوسيع حقل التاريخ وانفتاحه على المكتسبات المعرفية والمنهجية لعلوم الإنسان والمجتمع. وأخيرا وقفنا عند التاريخ الجديد ممثلا في جهود جاك لوغوف وزملائه الذين تجاوزوا أزمة الحوليات باستثمار حصيلتها المعرفية ، وجعلوا استرداد الماضي رهنا على توسيع معنى الوثيقة التاريخية لتشمل المخيال الاجتماعي- الثقافي الشغّال بما فيه من أساطير و مأثورات شعبية وسواها.
Abstract:
        Our attention in this research is devoted to talking about the methodological revolution that has taken place in the science of history since the nineteenth century, and the monitoring of the philosophical backgrounds that have framed it, starting with a review of the positivist perception of history that only cares about experimental facts supported by written documents, passing through the French Annals School which called for a synthesis of the historical work and the expansion of the field of history and its openness to the cognitive and methodological knowledge of human and social sciences. Finally, we tackled the new history, represented by the efforts of Jacques Lugoff and his colleagues who took advantageof the cognitive outcome of the French Annals School and halted the recovery of the past to extend the meaning of the historical document to include the working socio-cultural imagination (fiction), including myths, folklore and others.
