In this study, the aim is to present various approaches used in mathematical modeling of the flotation process. A general classification of the existing models is made and the general structure of each type is described. The historical background of kinetic models and their present status are reviewed. The practical use of rate constant, the kinetic parameter describing the flotation process, is presented and its relationship with the main process variables is outlined.

 

Bu çalışmada flotasyon işleminin matematiksel modellenmesinde kullanılan çeşitli yaklaşımlarm tanıtılması amaçlanmıştır. Mevcut modellerle ilgili genel bir smıflandırma sunulmuş ve her bir tipteki modellerin genel özellikleri anlatılmıştır. Özellikle kinetik modellerin tarihsel gelişimi irdelenmiş ve günümüzdeki konumu değerlendirilmiştir. Bu modellerin flotasyon işlemini tanımlayan parametresi olan hız sabitinin anlamı ve işlem değişkenleri ile olan ilişkisi incelenmiştir.
