Abstract:

The process of unifying public policies between the Member States of the European Union, is the major goal of their complementarity path and of their attempts at integration. After unifying the currency as the culmination of economic integration, the European Union is trying to unify the rest of the policies, including a common European policy on immigration and asylum; The latter has not reached the level of a unitary legal system binding on all Member States to deal with issues related to the movement of people, because internal political and value issues still have spillover effects on the construction of public policies. of the European Union.
