Abstract:

This paper aims to highlight the contribution of linear models in the field of rationalization of decisions, specifically at the level of production planning in industrial establishments, in order to rely on the quantitative approach in reducing the total production costs through the optimal utilization of available resources. In order to clarify these ideas, research was supported by an applied study of an institution through the formulation of a mathematical model to develop a total production plan over the next period of time using Excel Solveur 2007 in the solution.
