Abstract:

Abstract:
Irregular war is taking place between two parties of varying characteristics and adopting different methods of warfare, in the context of this war, the irregular forces seek to win the support of the population and create a nurturing environment for them to achieve decisiveness. This makes the regular forces face great challenges in the management of warfare operations, which are usually within the cities inhabited by the population, especially if the social fabric is diverse with different sectarian, and political affiliations which It is not necessarily in line with the government's direction. Any unwanted reaction by regular forces would inflame the hostility of the population against the regular government forces, especially if they are incur serious violations, which helps to create an environment that is not supportive of the operations of the regular forces, which will prolong the war and increase the serious side effects on society as a whole.
