 The goal of this study is to assess the environmental and functional performance of a cultural heritage site with civil architecture. This site has been repurposed and is currently serving a new function beyond its original construction purpose. The effect of the new function given to Hamamlı Konak, which could not fulfill its original function, on the sustainability of the building was investigated and evaluated within the scope of use process evaluation criteria such as environmental and functional performance, based on the results of the survey made with new users The research aims to reveal the advantages and disadvantages of the new function by determining the adaptability level of the building and spaces to the environmental and functional requirements of the building, which is used as the Metropolitan Municipality KUDEB office today. . Evaluating the functional performance of reused buildings is beneficial in terms of taking the necessary measures to make the given function sustainable, while the components and processes that need to be analyzed in the adaptation process in buildings with reuse potential, transportation, being an urban focal point, urban space formation and the adequacy of using existing spaces with their current function.

 Bu çalışmada, yapım amacı dışında günümüzde yeni işleviyle yaşamını sürdüren bir kültürel mirasın çevresel ve işlevsel performansının belirlenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Özgün işlevini yerine getiremeyen Hamamlı Konaka verilen yeni işlevin yapı sürdürülebilirliğine etkisinin, yeni kullanıcılarla yapılan anket sonuçlarına dayalı olarak çevresel ve işlevsel performans gibi kullanım süreci kriterleri kapsamında değerlendirilmesi amaçlanmıştır. Araştırmada, günümüzde Büyükşehir Belediyesi KUDEB ofisi olarak kullanılan binanın çevresel ve işlevsel gereksinimlerine, yapının ve mekanların adapte edilebilme düzeyi belirlenerek, yeni işlevin avantaj ve dezavantajlarının ortaya konulması amaçlanmıştır. Yeniden kullanılan binaların işlevsel performanslarının değerlendirilmesi, verilen işlevin sürdürülebilir kılınması için gerekli tedbirlerin alınması anlamında yarar sağlarken, değerlendirme ile yeniden kullanım potansiyeli olan binalarda adaptasyon sürecinde analiz edilmesi gereken bileşenler ve süreç; ulaşım, kentsel odak noktası olması, kentsel mekân oluşumu ve var olan mekânların mevcut işleviyle kullanımının yeterliliği olarak belirlenmiştir.
