Abstract:

In this study, we shed light on the relationship between the central authority and the Algerian tribe during the Ottoman era, based on the influence of the geographical factor, in particular the role of the mountain, which was a factor influencing its dimensions. Many tribes have the opportunity to refrain from obedience to power because of the protection and psychological impact it uses to stay away from submission and control. The negative effects on Algeria as a whole, especially in terms of the survival of tribes torn between three categories (Makhzen, parish, abstaining), or economic impact of insecurity and stability, but the Ottoman authority has adopted methods to overcome the factor of the mountain, such as resort to depriving the tribe abstained from the plains and markets, the mountain is important He did not give all the needs of the tribes, he lacks many of the necessary materials, especially food products such as wheat, and sometimes reach peace agreements, or resort to military campaigns and to pay strong blows that force the tribes abstaining from the mountain to obey, despite the fact that the mountain has a bad impact My often, but sometimes allowed opportunities for convergence and cooperation, especially since the power needed fighters to repel foreign attacks or exploitation of natural resources, especially the wood for the shipbuilding industry.
Observers of the history of mankind find that geographical factors and terrain has played a significant role in the development of civilizations, the Egyptian civilization is the gift of the Nile, and Greece would not know the city state system without the mountains that characterize this area and continued in the modern period, if Britain was not an island would not have been able to The seas reign in the sense that it was not just Algeria, but a feature that charted human civilization through the age.
