Abstract:

Our research seeks to shed light on the economic and social determinants of the phenomenon of tribal war that occurred in the Middle Maghreb during the middle time, when desert dwellers continued to represent the majority of human capacity and tribes remained the most important element of social life. This tribal system was in harmony with economic components. Bedouins relied on travel owing to the changeable environment, and the exposure of resources to depletion, especially with the nearly total lack of central authority, which forced them to congregate in order to secure themselves. Thus, invasion was the tribe’s source of existence and political stability.
