Abstract:

In this research, we will study the relationship of the Al-Ka`ub tribe with the Hafsid state, where we will initially show the stages of the emergence of the Al-Ka`ub tribe on the political scene, Country, The authority of this tribe increased with three caliphs: Sultan Abu Hafs (683/694 AH), Sultan Abu Yahya al-Lihyani (711/717 AH), and the last of them was Sultan Abu al-Abbas al-Fadl (750/751 AH), as these caliphs relied on them to preserve their king, On the other hand, the heels took advantage of this situation and ruled the country as they wished, But this matter did not last long, as the scales were turning against them when the adversary of the Hafsi caliph appeared, and the role of this tribe declined under five caliphs: Abu Asida (694/709 AH), Abu Al- Baqa Khalid (709 AH/711 AH) and Abu Bakr (718 AH/ 747 AH) and Abu Hafs Omar (747 AH / 748 AH)And Abu al-Hasan al-Marini (748 AH / 750 AH), and Al-Ka`ub became under these caliphs, causing unrest and many revolutions, What is the reason for the emergence of these revolutions? How did the Hafsid state deal with them?
