Abstract:

This is the subject of important topics that ever raised the researchers to identify the main motives behind the pursuit of some Iraqi figures and non-Iraqi to compete for the throne of Iraq during the British occupation, but the result was the desire of British politicians are imposed on the political arena in Iraq at the time, and when the revolution in Iraq which claimed the lives of eight thousand British convinced that Miss Bell who had known Gertrud Bell known as the Queen of Iraq is not crowned, that direct British administration would be too costly and it is best to seek authority to be set up under British tutelage. It was to touch Bill and a clear impact in some of the important political issues that has gripped Iraq, including the formation of the Iraqi interim government and choose a president and members of this government, also had a clear impact on the issue of Prince Faisal's nomination for the throne of Iraq, as she aspires to reconcile the interests of her country and the aspirations of the Iraqi people a national system of governance.
