Abstract:

 : Abstract
Given the global changes taking place in the political arena, the changing role of women in societies and the promotion of the concept of
equality between men and women, There is an urgent need to empower the latter with community participation and political participation in particular , Despite efforts by many Arab countries to ratify international agreements on the elimination of all forms of discrimination against women and to give them all their rights, this does not necessarily reflect progress in the status of women in terms of political participation. It is still modest, In their participation at the political level, especially in the presence of strong challenges linked to several factors hinder the support and facilitate this participation ,Therefore, through this study, we aim to seek the most important political, social, cultural and economic
.obstacles to the effective political participation of women.
