Abstract:

The topic of the research can be summed up in introducing the Imam Abu Abdullah Mohamed Al-Arabi bin Ahmed Burdulla Al-Fasi (died in 1133H)، and studying his answer to a sensitive issue of the principles of jurisprudence issues in the study of semantics، which is the distinction between the noun and the nominated and nomination according to the Fundamentalists، and removing the occasional problem in this issue، since the noun is used and what is meant is the same as what is nominated، it may be used and means the unnominated، or it may mean neither the nominated nor anything else، so it difficult to distinguish between them. In this research، I adopted the documentational method as a main method، in addition to the auxiliary methods: descriptive، transmissive، and analytical. The research concluded with results، the most important of which is the status of Imam Abu Abdullah Mohamed al-Arabi bin Burdulla; which made him a destination for students to solve dilemmas and answer problems. He explained that the subject of dispute in the issue is the meaning of the noun، as it was used in partial structures in which its meaning is not intended، but rather some of the attributes of its meaning in the sentence are intended.
