Abstract:

In the article, Turkeys role in bringing Azerbaijans energy resources to the world market is discussed. Of the total estimated 203.2-257.7 billion barrels of Caspian basin oil reserves, 39-72 billion barrels fall to Azerbaijan. The volume of proven gas reserves in the Caspian region is 232 trillion cubic metres, of which 30 trillion cubic metres falls on Azerbaijan. The volume of gas in the Shah Deniz field alone is estimated at 1.4 trillion cubic metres. The territory of Turkey is of exceptional importance in bringing these hydrocarbon reserves to the world market. Thus, the Balkans and the Caucasus, two important land transit zones connecting the central part of Eurasia to the warm seas and the African mainland in the north-south direction, as well as the straits, which are also a maritime transit zone, intersect in Turkey and connect these regions to the Middle East and the Caspian region, which are geoeconomic natural resource centres. In the east-west direction, the Anatolian Peninsula constitutes the most important link in the strategic peninsula region covering the Eurasian continent. Turkey is located in a favourable geographical position between regions with rich energy resources and economically developed regions. In terms of its geographical and geostrategic position, Turkey plays the role of an energy corridor between countries rich in hydrocarbon resources and developed countries in need of these resources. This position is of great importance for the brotherly Turkic states, especially Azerbaijan. Turkey is currently implementing important transport projects that transport Azerbaijani energy resources to the world markets and at the same time meet its own energy needs.

Məqalədə Azərbaycanın enerji resurslarının dünya bazarına çıxarılmasında Türkiyənin rolundan bəhs edilir. Ümumilikdə 203.2-257.7 milyard barrel həcmində qiymətləndirilən Xəzər hövzəsi neft ehtiyatlarının 39-72 milyard barreli Azərbaycanın payına düşür. Xəzər regionunun təsdiqlənmiş qaz ehtiyatlarının həcmi isə 232 trilyon kub metrdir ki, bunun da 30 trilyon kub metri Azərbaycanın payına düşür. Təkcə Şahdəniz yatağındakı qazın həcmi 1.4 trilyon kub metr qiymətləndirilir. Qeyd edilən karbohidrogen ehtiyatlarının dünya bazarına çıxarılmasında Türkiyə ərazisi müstəsna əhəmiyyətə malikdir. Belə ki, Şimal-cənub istiqamətində Avrasiyanın mərkəzi hissəsini isti dənizlərə və Afrika materikinə bağlayan iki mühüm quru keçid bölgəsi olan Balkanlar və Qafqaz, eyni zamanda da bir dəniz keçid bölgəsi olan boğazlar Türkiyədə kəsişməkdədir və bu bölgələri geoiqtisadi təbii sərvətlər mərkəzləri olan Orta Şərq və Xəzər bölgəsinə bağlamaqdadır. Şərq- Qərb istiqamətində isə Anadolu yarımadası, Avrasiya materikini əhatə edən strateji yarımadalar bölgəsinin ən mühüm halqasını təşkil etməkdədir. Türkiyə zəngin enerji ehtiyatları olan bölglərlə iqtisadi cəhətdən inkişaf etmiş bölgələr arasında, əlverişli coğrafi mövqedə yerləşmişdir. Yerləşdiyi coğrafi və geostrateji mövqe baxımından Türkiyə karbohidrogen ehtiyatları ilə zəngin olan dövlətlərlə bu ehtiyatlara təlabatı olan inkişaf etmiş dövlətlar arasında enerji koridoru rolu oynamaqdadır. Bu mövqe eyni zamanda, qardaş türk dövlətləri, xüsusilə Azərbaycan üçün də mühüm əhəmiyyət kəsb edir. Hazırda Türkiyə Azərbaycan enerji resurslarının dünya bazarlarına nəqlini həyata keçirən mühüm nəqliyyat layihələrinin reallaşmasını həyata keçirir və eyni zamanda özünün enerji tələbatının ödənilməsini təmin edir.
