Abstract:

The study of the activities of the association oulama since its establishment until the end of the forties found an area for researchers of all walks of life. The French intelligence services are following the association's activities before the revolution and until its dissolution in 1956, has the association contributed to the event as an official body in Algeria or in Cairo through the presence of its president, Sheikh Bachir Brahimi? Or that the Assembly did not pay any attention at the time to what was happening on the national scene? Or that the relationship of some reformists to the revolution was according to individual jurisprudence has nothing to do with the official body? These are some of the questions that we tried to stand by through the French reports, which followed the subject accurately, so as to remove some confusion from the subject and even contribute to the process of substantive enrichment to introduce the activity of the Association in its real course like other national societies that contributed to the dynamism of the civilization of Algeria In a difficult period of French occupation.
