Abstract:

Electronic notification provides a fast and flexible way of informing to the addressee instead of physical notification methods. Therefore, electronic notification was foreseen by the Law No. 6099 and the scope of the entities which shall obtain an electronic notification address is extended recently by the Law No. 7101. After the amendments by the Law No. 7101, a new Electronic Notification Regulation entered into force to determine the procedures and principles regarding electronic notification. According to this Regulation, the addressee shall obtain an electronic address from the post offices to get massages electronically. This electronic address needs to registered at the System of National Electronic Notification (UETS) to create an address book. The competent authorities will use this address book to make an addressee aware of a judicial, administrative and such kind of procedures.
