Abstract:

It is commonly known that hadiths are evaluated in two different categories named “maqbūl” (acceptable) and “mardūd” (rejected) as in the manners of their acceptability. Thus, this study especially examines the position of "maqbul" hadith as it is associated with the genuineness of the riwayas. Moreover, hadiths that are said to have been reported by Prophet Mohammed himself were not only sophisticated in the manner of their parameters in the historical process but also certain topics such as the pre-“Mutaqaddimūn” (early) period’s and “Mutaqaddimūn” period’s hadith methodology were covered. It was not neglected to study “Mutaakhirūn” period’s conditions too. There were several terms that have been regarded as signs and methods, used to comprehend the concept of makbul hadith and its entire sides. These terms are described “ṣaḥīḥ”, “ḥasan”, “mursal”, “telakki bi’l-kabul” and lastly “ziyadat al thiqat”.Consequently, this study shows that the parameters of maqbul hadith have been shaped through political, and philosophical conditions. In this manner, al-Shāfīʿi, al-Tirmid̲h̲ī, al-K̲h̲āṭṭābī, al-Ḥākim al-Naysābūrī and Ibn al-Ṣalāḥ were referenced. Also, another outcome of this study revealed that critiques coming from other disciplines led to emerging a defensive and radical reaction at first and then to increase in the affairs aiming the protection of the existing one/tradition.

Burada Hz. Peygamber’e (s. a. s.) ait olduğuna kanaat getirilen hadislerin tarihsel süreç içerisindeki parametrelerine dikkat çekilerek; mutakaddimûn usûl eserleri öncesi, mutakaddimûn dönemi ve mutaahhirûn dönemi şeklindeki başlıklara göre tespitler yapılmış değerlendirmelerde bulunulmuştur. Bu bağlamda makbûl hadisin içeriğine taalluk etmesi bakımından “sahîh”, “hasen”, “mürsel” “telâkki bil kabûl”, “ziyâdetü’s-sikâ” kavramları müellifleri değerlendirmede ölçek olarak kullanılmıştır.
Çalışmamızın neticesinde makbûl hadis parametrelerinin dönemsel siyâsî, fikrî cereyânlar çerçevesinde değişip şekillendiği görülmektedir. Bu bağlamda İmâm eş-Şâfiî (ö. 204/820), Ebû İsâ et-Tirmizî (ö. 279/892), Ebû Süleymân Hamd (Ahmed) b. Muhammed b. İbrâhîm b. Hattâb el- Hattâbî el-Büstî (ö. 388/ 998), Ebû Abdullah İbnü’l-Beyyi’ Muhammed Hâkim en-Nîsâbûrî (ö. 405/1014) ile Ebû Amr Takıyyüddîn Osmân b. Salâhiddîn Abdirrahmân b. Mûsâ eş-Şehrezûrî (ö. 643/1245) zikredilmesi gereken en önemli şahsiyetlerdir. Sahâbe dönemi kabul kriterlerinin eş-Şâfiî ile birlikte değiştiği, İbn Salâh’a gelene kadar bazı değişimler geçirdiği İbn Salâh’ın ise eş-Şâfiî’den sonraki süreç baz alarak kriterleri sabitlediği kanaatine varılmştır. Bununla birlikte diğer disiplinlerin yönelttiği eleştirilerin genelde tutucu ve savunmacı reflekslere dönüşerek kabul kriterlerinde mevcudu muhafaza şeklinde etkisini gösterdiği görülmüştür.
