Abstract:

Our language is our
world. Language is the understanding of the world. Life and death are intertwined. Life that
makes the opposite pole of life makes life meaningful. According to the science
of tannatology, death occurs in three stages, biological, social and
psychological. But since it is painful to pronounce the word of death, it is
called a euphemism word, as it is in every language. According to Maupassant,
life is worthless, meaningless, bullshit. Life has no logic. Life is a prison. So, he is all alone.
All his knowledge of life is disgusting to him. For this he flees from man, he
chooses loneliness. The feelings and thoughts of people are incomprehensible
and they are condemned to loneliness. According to the writer, loneliness is
trapped, death threatens, destitution or bitterness ruined. In this work, we
tried to examine Maupassant's death understanding, which we have included in
life, literary personality and style, in a story called 'La Morte'. From this story which has many
translations to our language, we tried to give the world view of love in the
triangle of love, woman and death.

Maupassant’a göre, hayat değersiz, anlamsız, saçmadır. Hayatın bir mantığı
yoktur. Hayat bir cezaevidir. Bu yüzden, kendisi yapayalnızdır. Hayatla ilgili
