Abstract:

This research studies the people and the nations which were mentioned in the Safaitic inscriptions in fight contexts. These nations included the Safaities, the Jews, the Persians, the Nabataeans, and the Manathira (the Lakhmids). These nations can be classified into two main parts: First people and nations that were directly participating in the fight, or other nations that were just mentioned in the events and who were not directly involved in the fight. The research relies mainly on reading and analyzing the Safaitic inscriptions in an attempt to date and document some of the different kinds of the fight and to interpret the communication patterns among them. This study is not including the Romans, since the material that refers to relationship between them and the Safaities is too wide, and there is oncoming study about this topic.\\ \\.
