Abstract:

This research takes one of Sayf Al-Dawlleh's councils a field for reading and exegesis, through which he examines the cultural and political realty of the Hamadanid metropolis, and uncovers, contextually, the elements of influence and dominance which overrule the relation between the "political" and the "literary", and makes the scale of one as a power of guidance and submission to the other. That is what the study clears up in assigning the culture of flourishing "rhetoric", where it was entrusted in the service of the ruling affairs and directed by political will; hence care was given to its support and activating its effect is accompanied with a counter care to restrict it and assign its course.
