Abstract:

Although
Plato had lived centuries ago, his ideas about politics is very important in
terms of contemporary political problems. The evaluation on the functioning of
democracy in this time retains its acceptability in determining the problems of
contemporary democratic practices. In this article in the light of criticism
that Plato did the problems of the practices of contemporary democracy will be
handled and thereafter these problems will be tried to show what kind of
solution the contemporary Platonist commentators offer.

Platon,
yüzyıllar öncesinde yaşamış olmasına rağmen politika ile ilgili fikirleri
güncel politik problemler açısından büyük önem taşımaktadır. Onun kendi
