 This meta-synthesis study aims to develop a holistic approach by synthesizing qualitative research results that examine the Quran memorization project with formal education based on Quran teachers opinions. In this study, in which the meta-synthesis method was used, a five-step research process was followed in accordance with the literature. The criteria for the research to be included in the study group were that it was about a Quran memorization project along with formal education, was based on Quran teachers opinions, and was conducted with a qualitative or mixed method. The data obtained from 10 studies met these criteria were carefully read and themes and codes were determined. The findings of this meta-synthesis study reveal that the project has advantages and challenges. In particular, the structural dimension of the project, the Quran memorization education process, teacher competencies, what it brings to students, and student-teacher expectations came to the fore as the main themes. The structural dimension of the project offers significant advantages in integrating Quran memorization education with formal education. Another positive feature that stands out in the researches is that students can memorize without leaving their families or being away from their peers. Collaboration between the school and the Quran course is critical to the projects success. It has been determined that the one-year break from school within the scope of the project, in terms of the opportunity it provides for Quran memorization education, is a driving force in students and their families deciding and continuing memorization education. However, it has been revealed that this period is generally insufficient to complete memorization, and a limited number of students can complete it within this period. One of the strengths of the project with formal education is the participation of willing and capable students in memorization education at an early age. This quantitative and qualitative increase in the student resource, is a pleasing situation for Quran memorization education. Research findings show that carrying out Quran memorization with formal education positively contribute to student academic and social development. As a result, the Quran memorization project with formal education significantly contribute to Turkeys education system as a new model. For the project to be executed successfully, it is crucial to make structural improvements, meet the expectations of students and teachers, and strengthen cooperation between institutions.

 Bu meta-sentez çalışmasının amacı, örgün eğitimle birlikte hâfızlık projesini öğretici görüşlerine dayalı olarak inceleyen nitel desenli araştırmaların sonuçlarını sentezleyerek bütüncül bir yaklaşım geliştirmektir. Meta-sentez yönteminin kullanıldığı bu çalışmada literatüre uygun olarak beş basamaklı araştırma süreci takip edilmiştir. Çalışma grubuna dâhil edilecek araştırmalar için örgün eğitimle birlikte hâfızlık projesini ele alması, öğretici görüşlerine dayanması ve nitel ya da karma yöntemle gerçekleştirilmiş olması ölçüt olarak belirlenmiştir. Bu ölçütlere uyan 10 araştırmadan elde edilen veriler dikkatlice okunarak temalar ve kodlar belirlenmiştir. Bu meta-sentez çalışmasında ulaşılan bulgular, projenin hem avantajları hem de zorlukları olduğunu ortaya koymaktadır. Özellikle projenin yapısal boyutu, hâfızlık eğitim süreci, öğretici yeterlilikleri, öğrencilere kazandırdıkları ve öğrenci-öğretici beklentileri ana temalar olarak öne çıkmıştır. Projenin yapısal boyutu, hâfızlık eğitiminin örgün eğitimle bütünleşmeyi sağlaması bakımından önemli avantajlar sunmaktadır. Ayrıca öğrencilerin ailelerinden ayrılmadan ve akranlarından uzaklaşmadan hâfızlık yapabilmeleri de araştırmalarda öne çıkan diğer olumlu bir özelliktir. Okul ve Kuran kursu arasındaki iş birliği, projenin başarısı için kritik bir öneme sahiptir. Hâfızlık eğitimine sağladığı imkân bakımından proje kapsamında okula bir yıl ara verilebilmesinin, öğrencilerin ve ailelerinin hâfızlık eğitimine karar vermelerinde ve devam etmelerinde itici bir güç olduğu belirlenmiştir. Ancak bu sürenin hâfızlığı tamamlamak için genellikle yeterli olmadığı ve sınırlı sayıda öğrencinin bu zaman zarfında hâfızlıklarını bitirebildikleri ortaya çıkmıştır. Örgün eğitimle birlikte yürütülen hâfızlık projesinin güçlü yanlarından biri hâfızlık eğitimine erken yaşta, istekli ve kabiliyetli öğrencilerin katılmasıdır. Öğrenci kaynağındaki hem niceliksel hem de niteliksel bu artış hâfızlık eğitimi açısından sevindirici bir durumdur. Araştırma bulguları, hâfızlık eğitiminin örgün eğitimle birlikte yürütülmesinin öğrencilerin hem akademik hem de sosyal gelişimlerine olumlu katkı sağladığını göstermektedir. Sonuç olarak; örgün eğitimle birlikte hâfızlık projesi, Türkiyede eğitim sistemine yeni bir model olarak önemli bir katkı sunmaktadır. Ancak, projenin başarılı bir şekilde yürütülebilmesi için yapısal boyutların iyileştirilmesi, öğrenci ve öğreticilerin beklentilerinin karşılanması ve kurumlar arasındaki iş birliğinin güçlendirilmesi gerekmektedir.
