 The focus of this study is on the theoretical and practical problems related to Russian idiom dictionaries. The question of what kinds of theoretical and practical problems exist in the preparation of idiom dictionaries forms the basis of this research. The aim of this study is to examine the theoretical and practical problems encountered in the preparation of idiom dictionaries, and to evaluate selected idiom entries. The sources for this research include prominent Russian lexicography and phraseology studies, as well as Russian idiom dictionaries. In the study, the theoretical problems of idiom dictionaries, such as the selection of idioms, explanation criteria, the volume of information about idioms, the layout of the dictionary, the structure of the idiom item headings, and the presentation of examples related to the item headings are emphasized, and the approaches to solving these problems are examined by descriptive and comparative methods. In the findings section, the study examines the same idiom entries taken from various Russian dictionaries, including one explanatory dictionary and three idiom dictionaries, assessing their structure and content. After examining and assessing the dictionaries, recommendations were made regarding the limits and volume of the idiom dictionaries, as well as how idioms should be identified and included in the dictionary, and how to choose the idiom entry. It is considered that this study will offer a different perspective on the theoretical and practical problems of idiom dictionaries prepared not only in Russian but also in other languages.

 Bu çalışmanın konusunu Rusça deyim sözlüklerinin kuramsal ve uygulama sorunları oluşturmaktadır. Deyim sözlüklerinin hazırlanmasında ne tür kuramsal ve uygulama sorunlarının bulunduğu sorusu bu araştırmanın çıkış noktasıdır. Bu sorudan hareketle çalışmanın amacı deyim sözlüklerinin hazırlanmasında karşılaşılan kuramsal ve uygulama sorunlarını inceleyerek seçilen örnek deyim madde başlarını değerlendirmektir. Araştırma kaynakları olarak Rus dilbilim çalışmalarında öne çıkan Rusça sözlükbilim ve deyimbilim kaynakları ile Rusça deyim sözlükleri incelenmiştir. Çalışmada deyim sözlüklerinin kuramsal sorunları arasında yer alan, deyimlerin seçimi, açıklama kriterleri, deyimler hakkında verilen bilginin hacmi, sözlükteki yerleşim düzeni, deyim madde başının yapısı, madde başıyla ilgili örneklerin gösterilmesi gibi hususlar üzerinde durularak bu sorunların çözümüne yönelik yaklaşımlar betimleme ve karşılaştırma yöntemleriyle incelenmiştir. Bulgular bölümünde biri açıklamalı sözlük, üçü deyim sözlüğü olmak üzere farklı Rusça sözlüklerden seçilen aynı deyim madde başları yapı ve içerik açısından değerlendirilmiştir. Söz konusu sözlüklerin incelenmesi ve değerlendirilmesi sonucunda deyim sözlüklerinin hacminin ve sınırının belirlenmesi, bu noktada deyimlerin tespiti ve sözlükte nasıl yer alacağının planlanması, deyim madde başının seçimi gibi hususların dikkate alınması gerektiği gibi sonuçlar elde edilmiş ve önerilerde bulunulmuştur. Çalışmanın sadece Rusça değil diğer dillerde hazırlanan deyim sözlüklerinin kuramsal ve uygulama sorunlarına farklı bir bakış açısı getireceği düşünülmektedir.
