Abstract:

Water wells are generally classified Into two main groups : «Production Wells» and «Investigation
Wells». These groups are also divided into various types.
There are obvious differences in their methods of drilling as well as their methods of construction.
Now we will describe here, the outlines or principles of the methods to be used in the
construction of production wells. These principles are discussed Individually considering the different
 aquifer conditions and structures.
