 Aim: The study determined the technology usage skills and health literacy levels of the elderly and examined their relationship with their sociodemographic characteristics. Material and Methods: The population of this descriptive, relationship-seeking study was three retiree clubs with different socio-demographic structures located in the city center of Konya. Data were collected from 330 elderly people by face-to-face interview technique using the Personal Information Form and Health Literacy Scale HLS between May and August 2023. Results: According to model 1, age, the region where the retirement club is located, gender, marital status, education level, income level, and living with someone at home were found among the determinants of health literacy. According to model 2, regarding the use of technology, the ability to search on the internet about a subject one is curious about, the ability to record and share videosphotos from the phone, the ability to make voice and text conversations over the internet, the ability to create an appointment through the central physician appointment system, ability to use digital health applications, and finding technological devices complicated and thinking that they cause physical p0.001. Conclusion: It was found that the technology usage skills and health literacy levels of the elderly were not sufficient.

 Amaç: Araştırmada yaşlıların teknoloji kullanım becerileri ve sağlık okuryazarlığı düzeylerinin belirlenmiş ve sosyodemografik özellikleriyle ilişkisi incelenmiştir. Yöntem: Tanımlayıcı-ilişki arayıcı türde araştırmada; evren Konya il merkezinde yer alan farklı sosyodemografik yapılara sahip üç emekliler lokalidir. Veriler Kişisel Bilgi Formu ve Sağlık Okuryazarlığı Ölçeği SOYÖ ile yüz yüze görüşme tekniği kullanılarak Mayıs-Ağustos 2023 tarihleri arasında 330 yaşlıdan toplanmıştır. Bulgular: Sağlık okuryazarlığının belirleyicileri arasında model 1 e göre yaş, emekliler lokalinin olduğu bölge, cinsiyet, medeni durum, öğrenim durumu, gelir durumu ve evde biriyle yaşama durumu bulunmuştur. Model 2 e göre teknoloji kullanımına yönelik olarak merak ettiği bir konuyla ilgili internette arama yapabilme, telefondan videofotoğraf kaydedip paylaşabilme, internet üzerinden sesli ve yazılı görüşme yapabilme, merkezi hekim randevu sistemi üzerinden randevu oluşturabilme, dijital sağlık uygulamalarını kullanabilme, teknolojik aletleri karmaşık bulma ve fiziksel zararı olduğunu düşünme yer almıştır p0.001. Sonuç: Yaşlıların teknoloji kullanım becerilerinin ve sağlık okuryazarlığı düzeylerinin yeterli düzeyde olmadığı bulunmuştur.
