 The study aims to study the effect of the Egyptian pound floating on the performance of foreign trade (Egyptian exports and imports) as a model for measurement through two periods of float for 2003 and 2016 And the difficulties faced by the Egyptian economy and the most important deficit in foreign currency and the State’s attempt to control the exchange rate of floating and liberalization. The study focused on the impact of the relationship between the floatation of the Egyptian pound And its effect on the balance of payments, GDP, the index of prices and inflation rates, and the impact on the efficiency of Egyptian exports The research has examined the experiences of some countries in this field to benefit from successful experiences The study data were analyzed and hypotheses were tested to reach conclusions and recommendations, in which it was recommended to encourage industrialization policies for export, restructuring the state’s productive apparatus and activating the programs of international trade agreements for the development of Egyptian exports.
