 تهدف هذه الورقة العلمية إلى إبراز دور التربية الإعلامية في تكريس الاتجاه نحو الهوية المعرفية في المجتمع الجزائري انطلاقا أولا من إبراز محددات الهوية المعرفية، وثانيا التطرق إلى التحولات في مدلول التربية الإعلامية من "مشروع دفاع" يهدف إلى الحماية فقط، من خلال التعريف بمهارات التعامل مع كل وسائل الإعلام الاتصالي، إلى التعريف بمصادر المحتوى الإعلامي وأهدافه السياسية والاجتماعية والتجارية والثقافية والسياق الذي يرد، ويشمل التحليل النقدي للمواد الإعلامية، وإنتاج هذه المواد وتفسير الرسائل الإعلامية والقيم التي تحتويها. إلى "مشروع تمكين" يهدف إلى تمكين أفراد المجتمع من الوصول إلى فهم لوسائل الإعلام الاتصالية التي تستخدم في مجتمعهم، والطريقة التي تعمل بها هذه الوسائل، ومن ثم تمكنهم من اكتساب المهارات في استخدام وسائل الإعلام للتفاهم مع الآخرين.  إلى فهم الجمهور لآلية عمل الإعلام، والكيفية التي يؤثر بها على حياتنا.
    وخلصت إلى أن التربية الإعلامية تتوقف على طبيعة العلاقة بينها وبين النظامين السياسي والاجتماعي السائدين في المجتمع. وأنها تتحرك وفقا لإيديولوجية هذا المجتمع، ومن ثم فهي متغيرة ومتجددة بإعتبار أن إيديولوجية المجتمع هي مفهوم متغير، بمعنى أنها تتحدد وفقا للتيارات الفكرية والثقافية والاتجاهات السياسية والثقافية السائدة في المجتمع.
This scientific paper aims to highlight the role of media education in devoting the trend towards cognitive identity in Algerian society, first by highlighting the determinants of cognitive identity, and secondly, to address the transformations in the meaning of media education from a "defense project" that aims to protect only, by introducing skills to deal with All communication media, to introduce the sources of media content, its political, social, commercial and cultural goals and the context in which it appears, and includes critical analysis of media materials, the production of these materials and the interpretation of media messages and the values they contain. To "Empowerment Project" aims to enable community members to gain an understanding of the communication media that is used in their community, and the way in which these methods operate, and then enable them to acquire skills in using the media to understand with others. To the public’s understanding of how the media works, and how it affects our lives.
She concluded that media education depends on the nature of the relationship between it and the prevailing political and social systems in society. And it moves according to the ideology of this society, and therefore it is changing and renewed considering that the ideology of society is a changing concept, in the sense that it is determined according to the intellectual and cultural currents and political and cultural trends prevailing in society.
