Məqalədə Ulu Öndər Heydər Əliyevin Azərbaycana rəhbərlik etdiyi dövrlərdə milli-mədəni sahədə əldə etdiyi uğurlardan bəhs olunur. Həmin illərdə Heydər Əliyevin elm və təhsil sahəsinə göstərdiyi xüsusi qayğı və diqqət təhlil olunur. Qeyd edilir ki, Heydər Əliyevin xüsusi səyləri nəticəsində elm və təhsil sahəsində yüksəlişə nail olunmuş və Azərbaycanın gələcəyi üçün milli kadr bazasının hazırlanmasının bünövrəsi qoyulmuşdur. Bununla yanaşı, Heydər Əliyev Azərbaycan xalqının dini dəyərlərinin qorunub saxlanılması üçün əlindən gələni əsirgəməmişdir. Heydər Əliyev öz fəaliyyəti və siyasi təcrübəsində hər zaman elmi fikrin ən yeni, mütərəqqi nailiyyətlərindən faydalanmış, cəmiyyətin, xalqın inkişaf zəminini elmdə, maariflənmədə görmüşdür. Heydər Əliyev dühası həm də elmimizin, mədəniyyətimizin, ədəbiyyatımızın gözəl bilicisi, tədqiqatçısı, ən əsası, böyük hamisi olmuş, elmə və alimə həmişə yüksək qiymət vermişdir. Bugün cənab prezident İlham Əliyev tərəfindən aparılan Azərbaycan Respublikasının milli inkişaf strategiyası məhz Heydər Əliyevin müdrik siyasətinə əsaslanaraq davam etdirilir. Azərbaycanın dünəni, bu günü və gələcəyi kimi dəyərləndirilən Heydər Əliyev ideyaları Prezident İlham Əliyevin rəhbərliyi ilə ölkəmizə qarşıdakı illər üçün daha möhtəşəm uğurlar vəd edir.
