 This research was conducted to determine the creative thinking and lifelong learning tendencies of science high school students and to determine the relationship between various variables and themselves. 308 science high school students studying in Sakarya in the 2023-2024 academic year participated in the research. In this research conducted with the general screening method, Marmara Creative Thinking Tendencies Scale and Lifelong Learning Scale were used to collect data. Descriptive analyzes and parametric tests were used to analyze the collected data. In the research, it was determined that students creative thinking and lifelong learning tendencies did not differ significantly according to age, parental education level, and being a student of a science and arts center. While it was determined that gender did not make a significant difference on creative thinking tendency, it was found to make a significant difference in favor of men on lifelong learning. It has been observed that there is a moderate positive correlation between lifelong learning and creative thinking tendencies.

 Bu araştırma, fen lisesine devam eden öğrencilerin yaratıcı düşünme ve yaşam boyu öğrenme eğilimlerini belirlemek ve aralarındaki ilişkiyi tespit etmek amacıyla yapılmıştır. Araştırmaya 2023-2024 Eğitim-Öğretim yılında Sakaryada öğrenim gören 308 fen lisesi öğrencisi katılmıştır. Araştırma tarama yöntemi ile gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırmanın verileri Marmara Yaratıcı Düşünme Eğilimleri Ölçeği ve Yaşam Boyu Öğrenme Ölçeği ile elde edilmiştir. Verilerin analizinde parametrik testler ve betimsel analizler kullanılmıştır. Araştırmada öğrencilerin hem yaratıcı düşünme hem de yaşam boyu öğrenme eğilimlerinin yaş, anne-baba eğitim düzeyi ve bilim sanat merkezin öğrencisi olma durumlarına göre anlamlı düzeyde farklılaşmadığı tespit edilmiştir. Cinsiyetin yaratıcı düşünme eğilimi üzerinde anlamlı fark oluşturmadığı belirlenirken, yaşam boyu öğrenme üzerinde erkekler lehine anlamlı fark oluşturduğu saptanmıştır. Yaşam boyu öğrenme ve yaratıcı düşünme eğilimleri arasında pozitif yönde orta düzeyde ilişkisel bir durum olduğu görülmüştür.
