Abstract:

	Abstract:
Africa was exposed to various types of external aggression, especially European, which initially appeared as geographical exploration with a peaceful commercial character, but the discoveries acts, soon turned into conquest, then occupation, then settlement, protection, trusteeship and mandate. Some territories called zones of occupation, some zones of protection, others under trusteeship, others called overseas territories and areas that considered settlements and an integral part of the colonial state in Europe.
Portugal was able to retain its last colonies until the 1970s, unlike other colonial powers such as Britain or France, and after bloody wars of liberation and great sacrifices in the colonies of Guinea, Angola and Mozambique, these countries were able to gain their independence and get rid of slavery and white racism.
