 This study examines the themes of time, space, exile, survival, and death in Ferit Edgüs novels Kimse, OHakkaride Bir Mevsim, and Eylülün Gölgesinde Bir Yazdı. Given that these themes are often explored together in existential philosophy and Edgüs works, this study interprets and analyses them as being inextricably linked. The analysis is based on the premise that Edgüs novels reflect key elements of existential philosophy and were written within this philosophical framework. In this context, the study draws on the approaches of Martin Heidegger, Jean-Paul Sartre, and Albert Camus. Heideggers concepts of thrownness into being and being towards death, Sartres notions of the burden of existence and individual freedom, and Camus idea of the absurd are used in analysing Edgüs novels. The isolated and harsh conditions of the settings in Edgüs novels, such as Pirkanis village, contribute to the characters experiences of exile, both physically and spiritually. These places amplify the characters existential anxiety and sense of alienation. The inner conflicts, fragmented dialogues, and monologues in Edgüs works reflect these existential concerns on a formal, literary level. Edgüs narrative style weaves the individuals search for meaning into universal existential questions. Employing descriptive, comparative, and content analysis methodologies, this article stands as the first comprehensive study to examine Ferit Edgüs novels within the framework of existential philosophy, thereby bringing together literary analysis and philosophical thought with a focus on Edgüs works.

 Bu makale Ferit Edgünün Kimse, OHakkaride Bir Mevsim ve Eylülün Gölgesinde Bir Yazdı adlı romanlarında zaman, mekân, sürgün, kurban ve ölüm temalarını ele almaktadır. Bu temalar Edgü ve Varoluşçu felsefede genellikle birlikte ele alındıklarından dolayı bu makalede birbiriyle kopmaz bir ilişki içerisinde yorumlanmakta, ona göre analizler yapılmaktadır. Edgünün romanlarının Varoluş felsefesinin temel unsurlarını yansıttığı ve romanlarının bu felsefi arka plan çerçevesinde yazıldıkları savından hareket eden bu çalışma, bu çerçevede, özellikle Martin Heideggerin, Jean Paul Sartreın ve Albert Camusnün yaklaşımlarına başvurmaktadır. Bu perspektif içerisinde Heideggerin varlığa fırlatılma ve ölüme doğru varlık, Sartreın varlığın yükü, bireysel özgürlük ve Camusnün absürt-uyumsuz gibi kavramları Edgünün romanlarının analizinde kullanılmaktadır. Edgünün romanlarında mekânın izole ve zorlayıcı koşulları, karakterlerin hem fiziksel hem de ruhsal anlamda birer sürgün gibi hissetmelerine yol açar. Pirkanis köyü gibi yerler, Edgünün karakterlerinin varoluşsal kaygılarını ve yabancılaşma duygularını yoğunlaştıran mekânlar olarak karşımıza çıkarlar. Edgünün eserlerinde karşılaşılan içsel çatışmaları, karakterlerin yaşamın anlamsızlığı karşısındaki arayışlarını, iç monologlar ve parçalı diyaloglar bu varoluşsal kaygıların ve yabancılaşma duygularının biçimsel, edebi düzlemdeki yansımaları şeklinde okunabilir. Edgünün bu anlatım tarzı, bireyin dünyadaki anlam arayışını evrensel varoluşsal sorularla harmanlar. Tanımlayıcı, karşılaştırmalı ve içerik analizi gibi araştırma yöntemlerini kullanan bu çalışma Ferit Edgünün romanlarına bütünlük bir bakış açısından Varoluşçu felsefe bağlamında inceleyen bir ilk çalışma niteliği taşımaktadır. Bu bakımdan bu çalışma edebi çözümlemeler ile felsefi düşünceyi Ferit Edgü ve onun romanları özeline bir araya getirmektedir.
