Abstract:

This article deals with the study of the fallacies, which is an authentic branch of the science of argumentation. And tries to clarify the subject, and examine the nature, and its relationship to logic, in terms of being a reversed logic, starting from the goals, and then arrange the necessary premises, and as not based on mental formal logic, but on the emotional logic that the current psychological and neurological studies focus on, How the human self interacts with other selves and objects. Hence, we have tried to emphasize the importance of the fallacies in the communicative process, in terms of which it motivate the dialogue, and establish the philosophy of diversity, which requires the proof and the counter proof. We have also tried to explain their occurrence, the reasons that it calls for. On the other hand, we have highlighted the interest of ancient scholars in studying and elaborating on their types, both in the Greek philosophical tradition, as the origin of the Aristotelian logic itself was a reaction to the activity of the sophism, or the contemporary linguistic and philosophical studies, which expanded the circle of understanding of this phenomenon.
