Abstract:

Every civilization has a preserved heritage left by previous generations, during past times that includes everything material and intangible. However, contemporary Arab thinkers have questioned how to deal with this heritage, so is it seen as a repository of ideas and knowledge, or is it seen as an extension of the present and a translation of reality and here The views of the heritage readings varied, but Hassan Hanafi uniquely reads the heritage by determining its material and formal levels, and since these two levels, the past and the present are connected in his opinion on the level of the individual's feeling, and the present can only be understood through the past and he has put in place the mechanisms of renewal through the marriage between authenticity and contemporary , He believes that authenticity is a thought at the level of history and contemporary is the reality at the level of behavior. Through his regenerative project, Hassan Hanafi wanted to convert revelation into a comprehensive human science, stressing the need to follow the phenomenal approach in analyzing religious texts and evoking them in their immediate form. Things and perceptions in which experience overlap with reality, and this is what we will try to clarify. The aim of the study was to know the approach of Hassan Hanafi, through which he wanted to diagnose the issues faced by the Arab world and to arrive at a scientific verifiable formula to lift the Arab reality from and guide it, by creating an ideology for reform and change.
