The research paper aims to focus on Algeria's efforts to establish a new economic model based on digital transformation, the first signs of which began with economic globalization and the outcomes of the information and communications technology revolution, which revealed the need to transition to a digital economy in all its forms.
Based on the analytical study, the study concluded that Algeria has achieved significant results in the digital economy, particularly through the digitization of administration and e-commerce. However, it faces numerous challenges and obstacles that could delay the country's digital economy strategy.
