Abstract:

Abstract : In this research, we tried to highlight one of the distinct historical architectural models, which fall within the physical cultural heritage of southern Morocco, and this is here, the Kasba of Thami El Glawi in the Oasis of Todgha, focused on tracking its course through history and through the tongue of memory, and for As a remnant of the French colonial period of Morocco, and subject to several criteria to exercise its role in control and defence, we have addressed its advantages in terms of the components of construction, as we have noted its historical importance and its role in linking the region's past to its present, and establishing the principles of national identity among current and future generations, Without forgetting the deteriorating situation it is experiencing, due to the lack of awareness and knowledge of its social importance, we have made a series of proposals that will enable it, after raising awareness of its value, restoring and preparing it, to contribute to local development.
