Abstract:

Social gender roles have utilized various sources in the social structure. Gender roles define man-woman relationships in social life via family, culture, religion and the state. It is a wellknown fact that a gender role creates a distinction between men and women in terms of individual rights and freedoms. For this reason many attempts have been done in order to neutralize gender roles. These attempts gain strength at the heart of education. For this reason, education and gender relationship creates a significant discussion field. The relation of education with gender roles constitutes the main subject of this study. Toplumsal cinsiyet rolleri toplumsal yapıda birçok farklı
kaynaktan beslenmektedir.
