Abstract:

The volleyball game has made great strides towards the development of technical performance, especially its offensive skills by informing the researcher and following up on many matches. And the capabilities to find out what the player possesses in the area of skill performance and work to develop and upgrade it to achieve better levels. The researcher used the descriptive method in the survey method to suit the nature and research. The researcher identified the sample of the research on the players of the team of the College of Physical Education and Sports Science- the University of Babylon in volleyball and the number (12) player. The researcher has determined the skill of overwhelming hitting by looking at the external sources and references for the game, the skill of overwhelming hitting and its relationship to the physical measurements in question has been identified. As for the tests that have been identified, the researcher has relied on previous sources, references and research in identifying the appropriate tests. The researcher used statistical means (mean, standard deviation, torsional coefficient, simple correlation coefficient (Pearson) and test (t) for the independent and independent samples). The researcher concluded that there is an association between the skill of overwhelming and the total length, and the existence of a correlation between the skill of overwhelming and the length of the arm, and the researcher concluded that there is a correlation between the skill of overwhelming and the length of the stem. The researcher recommends paying attention to the physical measurements in the volleyball player’s test. The researcher recommends that selecting players throughout the stature at an early time is feasible to develop basic skills and not to waste time in training for short stature players.
