Abstract:

Solidarity, which is expressing how
members of a society is connected to each other feelings, thoughts and
interests that perhaps not necessary until these days. It’s an important
research issue in terms of “unity in diversity” to come together on the axis of
common values, beliefs and attitudes. For this reason it’s worth examining the
historical development of the concept. Because solidarity is a form of
relationship that respects the equality and distributes rights and
responsibilities fairly. Utopias give importance to equality, freedom and
solidarity with assessments that go beyond the current state. Utopias seem as
the product of your dream embody a strong humanity and moral ideal. Additionally
what solidarity means in the context of an ideal society design, it’s an
imagination or a reality. In this study, the concept of solidarity will be
examined through the three utopias which are considered milestones of history
of thought.
