Abstract:

There is no
consensus yet about what art is and the place of art in society. The word art
is changing depending on the increase in artistic practices and the
unpredictability of what is seen as art is confronted. It is becoming
increasingly difficult to draw the limits of artistic creation. So, in an age
when everything can be a work of art and everyone can be considered an artist,
how the limits of art are in a relationship with the social process differs. On the one hand, an insistent
defense of the mystery of the art by the aesthetics experts continues; on the
other hand, social scientists emphasize how art is constructed socially with
non-aesthetic factors. This study will focus on the relationship of art with
non-aesthetic factors, rather than examining the work of art with an
introverted perspective, namely analyzing the formal elements of art. It will try to show how art penetrates social life
in different ways. It will discuss how the proliferation of artworks changes
the structure of artistic production. It will dwell on the meaning of ascribing
a certain political function to the art from the point of producing the
contemporary world in a different way in a society where the art is under the
domination of the market entirely.

Yani, her şeyin
gizeminin estetikçi uzmanlar tarafından ısrarlı bir savunusu devam ederken;
