ÖZBu makalede, Encümen-i Şuarâ’dan Mazlûm-zâde Mehmed Memdûh Paşa’nın üç eseri incelenerek şiire ve şaire bakış tarzı hakkında sonuçlar çıkarılmaya çalışılmıştır. Şairin Berg-i Sebz, Eser-i Memdûh ve Dîvân-ı Eş‘âr isimli eserleri bu bakımdan irdelenmiştir. Memdûh ve Fâ’ik mahlasıyla şiirler söyleyen Paşa’nın özellikle dîvânının mukaddimesinde poetikasına dair görüşlerinin yer aldığı tespit edilmiş, bu yüzden mukaddimenin tam metni Latin alfabesine aktarılmıştır.

Anahtar Kelimeler; Mazlûm-zâde Mehmed Memdûh Paşa, poetika, mukaddime.
