 عرفت منطقة توات بالجنوب الغربي الجزائري عبر العصور عدة أسر علمية كان لها الأثر البارز في إثراء الحياة العلمية والدينية بالمنطقة، وأخذت هذه الأسر على عاتقها مهمة نشر العلوم وحفظها، وساعدت أيضا على إنعاش الحياة العلمية بين سكان المنطقة، ولعل من بين الأسر التواتية التي أخذت على عاتقها هذا الحمل نجد الأسرة الكنتية، وهي أسرة علمية ودينية برز إسمها شامخا في منطقة أقبلي بإقليم توات، فكانت زاويتها الشهيرة زاوية شيخ الركب النبوي "سيدي امحمد بن عبد الرحمن أبي نعامة الكنتي" فيما مضى وغلى غاية التسعينات من القرن المنصرم قطبا علمياً ودينياً وثقافياً لما كانت تقوم به من دور فكري وثقافي تجاوز حدود الإقليم التواتي، فقد حملت على عاتقها مسؤولية نشر القرآن الكريم وتعلميه، ونشر العلوم الدينية بشتى فروعها وحقولها العلمية. 
The “TOUAT” region in the south-west of Algeria has been known through the ages by several scientific families that had a prominent impact on enriching the scientific and religious life in the region, and these families took upon themselves the task of disseminating and preserving science, and also helped to revive the scientific life among the inhabitants of the region, perhaps among the TUAT families: The “Kentish Family”, a scientific and religious family whose name has emerged in the “Akbli” region of TOUAT. Province, Its famous corner was the corner of “Sheikh Al-rukb Al-Nabawi”, " Sir Mohammed bin Abdul Rahman Abu Nama Al-kinti." In the past, until the nineties of the last century, it was a scientific, religious and cultural pole, because it was playing an intellectual and cultural role that went beyond the borders of the "tuati" region, it took upon itself the responsibility of publishing and learning the Holy Quran, and the dissemination of religious sciences in various branches and scientific fields.
