 يعتبر موضوع النفقة من المواضيع الهامة التي عالجها المشرع الجزائري كحق من حقوق الأبناء على الآباء ، وأولى بها أهمية بالغة خاصة في السنوات الأخيرة ، حتى يكفل للأبناء الحماية القانونية اللازمة في النفقة .
 ونفقة الأبناء من واجب الأب إذا كان له مال على أبنائه الاناث والذكور على حد سواء ، وتشمل الغذاء والكسوة والعلاج والسكن أو أجرته وما يعتبر من الضروريات في العرف والعادة حسب ما جاءت به أحكام المادة 78 من قانون الأسرة 
 ولقد حدد المشرع الجزائري في المادة 75 من القانون السالف الذكر بأن النفقة تكون على عاتق الأب ما لم يكن له مال فبالنسبة للذكور إلى سن الرشد وللإناث إلى الدخول ، وما يهمنا في الدراسة هو نفقة البنت التي بلغت سن الزواج ولم تتزوج أو تأخرت في الزواج ، والبنت العاملة أو الموظفة أو المقتدرة ماديا فهل تجب لها النفقة .
The issue of alimony is considered one of the important issues that the Algerian legislator has dealt with as one of the rights of children over parents, and has attached great importance to it, especially in recent years, in order to guarantee the children the necessary legal protection in alimony.
 The alimony of the children is the duty of the father if he has money for his female and male children alike, and it includes food, clothing, treatment, housing or his wages and what is considered among the necessities in custom and custom according to the provisions of Article 78 of the Family Law.
 And the Algerian legislator specified in Article 75 of the aforementioned law that the alimony is borne by the father unless he has money, so for males to the age of majority and for females to consummation, and what we care about in the study is the alimony for the girl who has reached marriageable age and has not married or is late in marriage, and the girl The worker, the employee, or the one who is financially able, is she obligated to alimony?.
