Abstract:

The one of the characteristics of Koranic rhetoric which is unique is that it uses tenses agreed with stage descriptions of the creating that it presents. This study, as a sort of art of “iltifat” variation of tenses aims to give thoughts about that how Koran presents cosmic and natural events, paralleled to passing between tenses. The study deals with the riches of meaning that formed by passing between past and present tenses together with that Koran presents descriptions relating to both creation of cosmos and its functioning. With the exception of some verbs which explain the stages of Doomsday and the Next World Last Judgment and so they come in form of past tense, referring to they express the definitiveness, the cosmic events is depicted with past tense, because it displays constancy and permanence, when the present tense presents natural events to the observing which is being a means of regenerations and renovations.

Kur’an-ı Kerim’in eşsiz retorik özelliklerinden biri de, yaratılışla ilgili sunmuş olduğu sahne tasvirlerine uygun düşecek zaman kipini kullanmasıdır. Bu çalışma iltifat sanatının bir türü olmak üzere Kur’an’ın zamanlar arası geçiş eşliğinde kozmik ve tabiî nizamı yansıtan olayları nasıl sunduğu konusu üzerine fikir imal etmeyi amaçlamaktadır. Çalışmada, Kur’an’ın gerek evrenin inşası gerekse işleyişine dair sunduğu sahne tasvirlerinde mazi geçmiş zaman ve muzâri geniş zaman kipleri arasında geçiş yapılmasının şekillendirdiği anlam zenginlikleri ele alınmaktadır. Kıyamet ve ahiret sahnelerini anlatan bazı fiillerin, kesinlik arz etmesi amacına matuf olarak mazi kipiyle gelmesi hususu istisna kılınırsa, olayın ta başta ilk kez ve değişmez olarak kozmik yapılanması mazi kiple ifade edilirken, tekrara ve yenilenmeye konu olan tabiat olaylarının müşahedeye sunulması, buna müsait düşen muzâri kiple takdim edilmektedir.
